Frequently Asked
Questions
I. WHAT DOES “INTERNATIONAL” DESTINATION WEDDING PLANNING MEAN?
It means that as a planner I can curate your dream event wherever you wish. I am not tied to any particular place, which allows me to follow your dreams all over the world. This also gives you more freedom when deciding on location. It can change, but your planner doesn’t have to. Some of my favorite places to work in are Belgium, Austria, Poland, Scandinavia, British Isles, Switzerland, Italy, France and more.
II. WHERE DO WE START?
Contact: To begin planning your wedding together, you can reach out to me through my website’s contact form. Essential information I’ll need includes your preferred wedding date(s), estimated guest count, potential destinations, and your budget.
Consultation: During our one-hour consultation call, we’ll discuss your dream destination wedding and how my services align with your vision. I’ll address any questions you have about the planning process, listen carefully to your desires and priorities, and explain how our collaboration would unfold.
Proposal: Following our consultation, I’ll create a personalized proposal for you. This document will encompass everything from a summary of your inquiry and wedding vision to a detailed description of my services, along with a breakdown of tasks and associated costs.
Confirmation: After you review the proposal and are happy with it, simply let me know. I’ll send you the contract, and once signed and the booking fee is paid, my services will be officially secured for your destination wedding.
III. DO YOU HAVE ANY “ENTRANCE” BUDGET YOU WORK WITH?
No, I don’t have any entrance budget. What is important to me is that the planned budget is realistic for the number of guests and your vision, ideas within the selected region or country.
IV. HOW DO YOU PRICE YOUR SERVICES?
Every couple, every wedding is different and needs a unique approach and that is why after our discovery-call I prepare a bespoke proposal tailored to your specific vision and needs. I believe that everyone deserves a beautifully curated experience and because there is no „minimum” budget you need to have to work with me, my fee differs based on the scope of work that is needed to execute your wedding. I take things like location, guest number, budget and concept under consideration.
Please remember that in order to ensure a meticulously designed wedding a Full Service planning takes about 400-450 hours of work. Elopements and intimate, smaller weddings (less than 40 guests) take 200-350 hours.
V. DO YOU WORK ONLY WITH YOUR OWN VENDORS?
I have a selection of preferred vendors tailored to different budget/style needs, but I remain open to considering new vendors if clients have recommendations. However, I thoroughly assess them beforehand to ensure they meet our standards and won’t compromise the quality of the event.
